Examination Rules & Regulations

  1. Internal Assessment tests are held at the College prior to each Semester University examination.
  2. Students must bring their Hall Ticket and College Identity Card when appearing for examinations.
  3. All personal belongings must be kept outside the examination hall.
  4. Absolute silence must be maintained inside the examination hall.
  5. Only permitted materials may be carried into the examination hall.
  6. Sharing of examination paraphernalia is strictly prohibited.
  7. Tearing pages from answer books is punishable.
  8. Rough work must be done only in the answer book.
  9. Ensure correct question numbers are written for all answers.
  10. Any form of communication will be treated as malpractice.
  11. Use of unfair means may lead to suspension, expulsion, or a 3-year ban.
  12. Fraud during internal assessment will result in zero marks.
  13. Students may leave only during the last 30 minutes of the examination.
  14. Assistance from invigilators should be requested quietly by raising a hand.
  15. Question papers must carry only the registered number and name.
  16. Attendance sheet must be signed for every examination.

Instructions To The Candidates For University Examination

  1. Write the name of the examination, month and year, subject of the day’s examination, date, code number of the question paper, and registered number in the space provided.
  2. Write answers on both sides of the sheets beginning from the third page.
  3. Write answers strictly within the margin line.
  4. Do rough work on the right side against each answer and clearly mark it off from the answer.
  5. Fasten securely all additional answer sheets, graph sheets, etc., to the main answer book using the twine provided.
  6. Write all answers legibly in blue or black ink only.
  7. Verify whether the answer book contains 14 writing pages.
  8. Note the total number of additional answer sheets used in the column provided.
  9. Do not write your name or registered number anywhere in the answer book except in the space provided on the front page.
  10. Do not bring any manuscript or loose sheets of paper into the examination hall other than your Hall Ticket.
  11. Do not resort to copying from your neighbour or from any book.
  12. Do not take any answer book or additional answer sheet outside the examination hall.
  13. Stand up from your seat to draw the attention of the invigilator if assistance is required; do not approach the invigilator directly.
  14. Do not write any request for favour or unnecessary comments in the answer sheet.
  15. Do not leave any mark, line, or sign on your script that may reveal your identity.
