Course Details -
The 3-Year (6 Semester) Course leads to the award of the Degree of Bachelor of Arts (Education). The goals and methods of Education, the relevance and adaptability of Education etc. are studied in detail. Attention is given to all that is required to ensure the holistic growth of an individual. The Course is best suited for those who desire to make a profession in the field of educating young minds. Knowledge and Values are considered two important pillars of meaningful life. Along with Education as Honors Subject a student has to take English, Alt. English / MIL (Khasi) and Environmental Studies as Compulsory Subjects and Any Two as Elective Subjects from the following: Political Science, History, Sociology and Elective Language.
